A hundred years from now it will not matter what may bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the care I drove...but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.

Hi parents and students! My name is Mrs. Cathy Gibbons and I have had the privilege of teaching at St. Agnes for the last 25 years. I earned my Bachelor's degree in History and Elementary Education from Molloy College and my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from St. John's University. I taught 1st Grade for 12 years and then moved on to 2nd Grade. Preparing the children for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Eucharist make 2nd Grade a special year.
My wonderful husband Joe and I have 2 sons, Joseph & Ryan. Joseph recently graduated from Farmingdale State College and has a passion for travel and Ryan is a sophomore at Mercy College and plays goalie for the lacrosse team. I am a very proud mom! I love to go the beach, travel, and spending time making memories with my family.
I am looking forward to a great year!
