I have had the privilege of teaching in Catholic Schools for the past 19 years and I am excited to begin my 15th year at St. Agnes!
I grew up in Brooklyn, New York and attended Hunter College in Manhattan where I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Fine Arts. For several years I worked in NYC as a mathematician and a systems analyst. I married and have two beautiful daughters. Education was of utmost importance in our home and as a result I decided to continue my schooling in the field of Education. I earned a Master’s of Science degree in Elementary Education from Queens College. My passion for math and teaching led me to my new career. I began my teaching as the 5th grade math teacher at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School. After five years I was delighted to accept the position at St. Agnes as the new 7th grade math teacher. I also teach literature to classes 7-3 and 7–4 .
I am committed to helping my students reach for their dreams through their education and the mission set forth in the Gospel.
When I am not in school, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music and completing crafts.
I look forward to the challenges of a new year!
