Hello, students and parents! My name is Ms. Gemma and I am so excited to be joining St. Agnes this year as the 4-3 teacher! I attended Marywood University for my undergrad and received my degree in Early Childhood / Special Education PK-8. I then continued my education at Touro University for my Masters in Childhood Education / Special Education 1-8. Prior to St. Agnes, I worked at a charter elementary school as a 3rd and 4th grade teacher.
I am so excited to be a part of St. Agnes and our school community. My goal is to help students foster a love of learning all while creating well-rounded, life long learners!

This school year, we turn to the Blessed Mother for her guidance and protection, asking her to keep us safe under her mantle. We seek her blessings for our class so that we may embody her virtues of humility, compassion, and love in all we do. In her motherly embrace, we find comfort and strength. We entrust this school year to her care, confident that she will show us the way to her Son and help us grow in faith.
St. Agnes, although you were only a child, you believed that Jesus was always with you; help us to remember that he is always with us, and to remain true to his presence.
St. Agnes, you refused to give up your faith; help us to be proud of our faith, to love it, to be strong in it, and to give witness to it daily.
St. Agnes, patron saint of children, watch over the children of the world; keep them safe from harm; be with them in their hour of need, and always pray for them.
-Amen
