Happy New Year!
Welcome to 7th Grade!
I am so excited to begin my 5th year teaching at St. Agnes Cathedral School. I spent my summer with my husband and two daughters enjoying Long Island, before my oldest daughter left for her freshman year of college. I am thankful for the time we spent together.
I hope each of you had a relaxing and fun summer!
I know this school year will be different in many ways, but we will continue to learn new and exciting things together.

St. Raymond of Penafort
St. Raymond of Penafort, whose feast we celebrate on January 7, was a Spanish Dominican friar in the 13th century, who compiled the Decretals of Gregory IX, a collection of canon laws that remained a major part of Church law until the 20th century.
He is the Patron Saint of Canonists.
-All students should bring their lunch to school in a brown paper bag. They will need a water bottle to bring back and forth to school every day to keep in the classroom and a drink for lunchtime which will be disposed of or recycled according to the container.

-Please wash your hands thoroughly.
-Please follow the directions of your teachers in the cafeteria, hallways and at recess.
St. Agnes, Our Patron Saint,
You, Agnes, followed Christ, even to death. Teach us to love Him as you loved Him; to witness to Him as you did, with courage; to put love for Him before our own lives; to renounce the idols presented to us by society; to risk everything in response to His fidelity.
Amen
Students are excepted to use appropriate behavior in the cafeteria and on the playground.
