As prescribed by this ruling, St. Agnes Cathedral School provides parents and students who have reached 18 years of age or are attending an institution of post-secondary education access to records directly related to the students.
Parents and eligible students may challenge those records on the grounds that they are inaccurate, misleading, or, in other ways, a violation of the student’s privacy or other rights.
The school must obtain the written consent of parents and eligible students before releasing personally identifiable information about the students contained in education records.
